RACE FOR LIFE CHEQUE PRESENTATION

Last April’s ‘Race for Life’ raised a massive total of £7000. Two representatives from Cancer Research UK came into school before the summer holidays and we presented them with the cheque. We are very proud of all our students for this amazing fundraising total.
In the photograph are Patrick Kelly, Thomas Roberts, Jack Hale and Ellie Martin along with Headteacher Miss Smith, Assistant Headteacher Mrs Brown and Miss McGibbon, who organised the ‘Race for Life’ event in school.
Also present is Tracy Allen, mother of ex student Curtis. Curtis sadly passed away in November 2017, after a brave battle against leukaemia. This years event was in his memory.
