This year, the Hallam Young Chaplaincy Leaders were asked to put together rucksacks for the homeless in our community. The rucksacks needed to contain specific items to provide some comfort to someone living out on the street as the cold weather approaches.They held various events to try to raise money and buy items needed and asked for people to support them in this and donate items if possible. Through various fundraising events they raised over £200 and were able to buy a huge range of new items for 4 new rucksacks.

With special thanks to Mrs P. Johnson and Mrs J. Johnson for the personal donation of items, to Mrs Allen for her help with the ‘soup kitchen’ and to Mr McGee who held an amazing Fifa fundraising event.
