Science Teacher

Start Date January 2025 or sooner

The ideal candidate will be an energetic, enthusiastic and talented classroom practitioner to join our Science Department. The position would suit either an Early Career Framework teacher or an experienced practitioner. The ability to work as an effective team member, be organised and communicate well with young people are essential requirements.

The successful applicant will teach students across the age and ability range. Students currently study AQA Triple Award or Trilogy Double Award at GCSE Level.

Saint Pius X Catholic High School is a well-regarded and over - subscribed 11-16 school.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a energetic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in the Special Needs Department supporting students with a variety of SEN across the age and ability range. This will mainly be within the classroom but may also involve some small group intervention work.

The successful applicants will work within an experienced team of Teaching Assistants led by the SENDCo.
